As this isn't desired to be solely a Soylent Ramen/Broke_Fi Recordings blog, as much as an encapsulation of my life's mission to create the perfect marriage of automation and sadness; I thought I'd throw out some reference to answer a couple questions with regard to my influences, or perhaps a glance into the type of sound I'd like to capture and the means with which I attempt said quest;
Exhibit A: would be available YouTube links I've grouped of recordings and performances that have personally effected me most profoundly

Exhibit B (or, if you like, the proverbial "nuts and bolts"):
A few of the items on this board are mere "wants", I suppose
(I would undoubtedly grant some benefactor a sexual favor in exchange for the TG-1), but this is all the important equipment/programs that have contributed to my recordings

Just passed 1,000 total views on the YouTube channel. I was routing Reason and Cool Edit Pro sequences from the Dell to my main PC but that setup has quite a few flaws and really won't carry a 45-60 minute set so I'm playing with a few really threadbare (read: free) sequencers and apps to try and string the tracks together in some kind of cohesive order, as well as add a few surprises to the mixes without destroying the novelty of the originals. The progression is slow, but I think I'll be able to get something un-listenable put together soon.
Love and hugs,

Soylent Ramen - Dead Liver Cell (Original mix)
Currently working on a set that will be played at a to-be-announced location and continuing the never-ending process of syncing up and debugging all of Broke_Fi's aged equipment.
In the meantime, I'll be uploading some older mixes on a regular basis.
YouTube channel is rapidly approaching 1,000 total views so thanks.
